Where can I see how many users are currently connected to SWG?
There's no counter and no way to determine the number of users who are currently connected to SWG.
There's no denial of new connections. Even if you go over your limit, filtering and browsing continues as normal.
Yes. You can import the same license file to multiple SWG Appliances.
The answer depends on your license type. There are two different types of licenses:
- Purchased - After your license expires, you can't download any new updates for the filtering engines, but you can still use the rule engine and filter traffic. SWG will still serve requests.
- Evaluation - After your license expires, your updates won't download and filtering won't work. You can't use the engines within SWG and it doesn't serve requests.

How do I obtain the trial or evaluation license?
You can complete the form on the Free Security Trials page for a trial license. The request is sent to our licensing team. They'll send you a trial license that's valid for 30 days.
