Technical Support doesn't support custom theme creation or changes to our existing themes. Customers who develop their own themes assume all responsibility for troubleshooting and changes. Also, themes that are used by our Sales Engineers, which haven't gone through Product Management approval for customer release, aren't supported. To review the support statement, see

There's a DE menu option that pertains to custom themes that's not documented anywhere. The option is called
Regenerate missing Theme Package, and must be used for the custom theme to be applied to the client. For this reason, this article has been created to help customers who incur issues while deploying a custom theme.
IMPORTANT: The
DE Best Practices Guide recommends that you leave the default options on the Theme tab for easier deployment and management. Change to using a custom theme only after a successful deployment of the default theme.
Custom theme requirements:
- Image with dimensions 1024 x 768
- File format should be in .PNG
- PNG file size shouldn't exceed 2.5 MB.
