The MER tool collects the following product data from the DXL server, so that Technical Support can analyze and resolve issues:

Download and run the MER tool for DXL server for Linux or UNIX:
- Download the MER tool attached to this article (trellix_dxlbroker_log_collector.zip).
- Extract the content of the trellix_dxlbroker_log_collector.zip file.
- Copy trellix_dxlbroker_log_collector.sh to the affected client computer.
- Change the file mode. Type the following command and press Enter:
chmod +x trellix_dxlbroker_log_collector.sh
- Run the script. Type the following command and press Enter:
sh trellix_dxlbroker_log_collector.sh
The generated output is written to /tp/mer_dxlbroker_<hostname>_<time_stamp>.tgz
- Submit the output file to Technical Support.
- If you are a registered user, type your User ID and Password, and then click Log In.
- If you are not a registered user, click Register and complete the fields to have your password and instructions emailed to you.
