Technical Support doesn't support custom rules or Firewall policy creation/tuning with ENS (except for custom rules that we provide as part of a zero-day threat). Customers assume all responsibility for troubleshooting and updating of custom rules/policies including the following:
- Customers who develop their own custom Access Protection rules and Exploit Prevention Expert Rules in ENS Threat Prevention
- Customers who alter custom rules that we provide
- Creation and management of ENS Firewall policies
NOTE: Technical Support can help with troubleshooting. For more information, see KB90662 - Troubleshoot an application/network traffic when using ENS Firewall. But, policy management is based on the approval process and specific needs of the customer environment.
If custom rules have adversely affected your systems and environment, or if you suspect they have, Technical Support recommends that you remove or disable those rules.
