Problem
During the ePO installation, an error similar to the following is displayed: If you must leave this port blocked, enter the TCP port assignment manually in the "SQL server TCP port" field in Setup. Cause
The remote Solution 1
Verify that the remote connection to the SQL service works. Also, verify that the SQL Server process is up and running on the specified port:
NOTE: Make sure that there's no IP address conflict. Confirm that the IP address isn't conflicting with any other system. The IP can be assigned via your network DHCP server or manually to the ePO DB system.
Solution 2If Solution 1 fails, perform the steps below:
