You observe the issue below on a DLP-7700 appliance when configured in the following way:
Cause
ESRT2 isn't supported in legacy mode on a DLP-7700 appliance with the default configuration. The UEFI and ESRT2 default configuration prevents the RAID card from being visible in the BIOS.
Solution
Don't change the BIOS configuration to Legacy mode. Any attempt to change to Legacy mode results in an unstable ESRT2 configuration. An unstable ESRT2 configuration causes the RAID volumes to disappear during the boot stage. Default configuration:
