Problem 1
A policy fails to assign or doesn't apply correctly, even when applied directly to the target computer.
Problem 2
A policy becomes corrupt. The policy can't be applied, viewed, modified, or duplicated, including any combinations of these actions.
CauseThe root cause is under investigation. This issue most commonly occurs after a recent upgrade, whether it's for the ePO server or an extension. After the upgrade action, some form of corruption occurs in the SQL database. Working with a post-corruption copy of the database or post-corruption policy has thus far proven inconclusive for finding the root cause. WorkaroundThe following workaround is intended to remediate an existing issue when policies can't be applied, viewed, modified, or duplicated.
