For supported environments, see KB68147 - Supported platforms for Data Loss Prevention Endpoint. ProblemIn Microsoft Outlook, when you delete a tag from a file and send the untagged file as an attachment, the attached file is retagged on the recipient's computer.
CauseOutlook saves a physical copy of the attachment in its temp directory. When you open, copy, or paste the attachment, the file is saved and retagged in the temp directory. When you save the file to your desktop, it's copied from the temp folder to the desktop, and the tag is preserved.
SolutionThis behavior is expected in DLP Endpoint. To change this state, delete the cached attachment from both the mail sender and recipient computers:
