The following issue occurs on a Danish, Swedish, or Czech client system:
- McAfee Agent communication fails.
- The agent has an installation path that contains Danish, Swedish, or Czech country-specific extended characters.
The following issue occurs on a Russian or Korean client system:
- Communication with the ePO server fails.
- The Russian and Korean characters do not display correctly in the agent monitor.
NOTE: The issue does not occur if you use non-extended characters in the installation path.
The
agent_<computer_name>.log file displays errors similar to the following:
