Problem

When you try to log in to the Trellix IPS Manager, you see the error below:

This site can't be reached.
The webpage at https://IP address/intruvert/jsp/module/Login.jsp might be temporarily down or it may have been moved permanently to a new web address.
ERR_UNSAFE_REDIRECT

Cause

This error message is seen when logon control is enabled and you're trying to access the Manager from an unauthorized network.

Solution

To resolve this issue, disable logon control by performing the steps below:

Log on to the MariaDB console.
Type UPDATE iv_emsproperties SET VALUE='FALSE' WHERE NAME LIKE 'iv.access.control.enabled' and press Enter.

Now, access the IPS Manager from an authorized network.

Type select * from iv_emsproperties WHERE NAME LIKE '%iv.access.control.enabled%'; and press Enter.

To list the authorized network CIDR block:
Type select * from iv_access_control; and press Enter.
