Summary
Sysmon is a free utility that captures and provides information and events that occur on your Windows device. Once installed, Sysmon remains on the system across system reboots. The utility helps monitor and log system activity to the Windows event log. It provides detailed information about process creations, network connections, and changes to file creation time. Sysmon also provides visibility into events, using which administrators and security personnel can find, analyze, and investigate any suspicious or malicious activity. The following steps help accomplish the integration:
