IMPORTANT: Several problems were found in the series of patches that were published in an earlier version of this article. If you've already installed any one of the old and affected patches, download the latest one from this article, and install the new one to overwrite the old one. We've created a patch for this problem. The patch is available from the "Attachment" section of this article. Install it by following the steps below:
- Download the atdpatch_netmaskUpdate.msu patch from the "Attachment" section of this article.
- Upload the patch to your IS 5.0 appliance using atdadmin credentials.
- Log in to the CLI using cliadmin credentials.
- Type install msu atdpatch_netmaskUpdate.msu 0 and press Enter.
NOTE: You might see errors similar to the following, which you can safely ignore:
Error: job pid is not running: 2761
Error: Software Installation failed
- Wait for the command to finish running. The expected time to complete is 30 s.
- Open the Manager and click Manage, Logs, System.
- Confirm that you see the following log entries:
Wed Jul 6 07:31:02 PDT 2022::Installing software...
Wed Jul 6 07:31:03 PDT 2022::Successfully applied NetMask update changes
- If you see the log entries, continue.
- If you don't see the log entries, open a Service Request.
- Reboot your appliance by typing reboot and then pressing Enter.
