The TA process stops unexpectedly. You manually collect the properties
(/opt/McAfee/agent/bin/cmdagent -p) and see the error below:
Failed to get ma info, error code <508>
The agent service status shows that the
masvc service has stopped.
[root@root]# service ma status
McAfee agent service isn't running.
McAfee common services is already running.
McAfee compat service is already running.
Trying to start the
masvc service
(/opt/McAfee/agent/bin/masvc self_start) causes a core (crash).
The system log shows the following after the agent crashes:
Started Process Core Dump (PID 18710/UID 0).
Resource limits disable core dumping for process 18629 (masvc).
Process 18629 (masvc) of user 0 dumped core.
