Problem
The ePO Updater tool fails to successfully install the ePO 5.10 update. The updater tool is unable to stop the needed product services. The errors below are recorded in the Cause
The updater tool runs the commands below to check the service status before stopping the ePO services: sc queryex MCAFEEEVENTPARSERSRV sc queryex MCAFEEAPACHESRV The command uses the path environmental variable to obtain the service status, which is missing: %systemroot% Solution
Add the missing variable to the Windows Path System environment variable:
