This article shows how to collect debug information needed for MVISION-PA using a script.

Background Details:
The command below is used to collect the data:

/opt/McAfee/cwpp/pop/PoPDeployment/PoPCreation/vCenter# ./pa_connector.sh

vCenter# options:

Resolve the host name of any domain from inside the container. This option checks whether a DNS server is properly configured in the container.
Restart all connector monitoring services.
Test the proxy sent as a parameter with the install script (infra.sh).
Verify whether the Private Application can be reached through a local proxy.
Collect all system data. Examples of what it collects:
- Logs
- app.json
- Openvpn configuration
Stop the microk8s service.
Start the microk8s service.
Exit.

Use the script below to collect data for troubleshooting an issue with MVISION-PA:

Basic script syntax:

root@ip-172-22-21-37:/opt/McAfee/cwpp/pop/PoPDeployment/PoPCreation/vCenter# ./pa_connector.sh

Available Options to include in the command:

vCenter#	Option description
1	Resolve a domain name
2	Restart Connector Services
3	Test the HTTP proxy set
4	Test the system proxy
5	Collect the Connector State
6	Stop the Connector
7	Start the Connector
8	Exit

Example:

Select the option you want to execute, type: 1
