Use the Offline SigSet Downloader to download the latest Signature Sets. This utility is available from the Trellix Downloads site.



Before you use this offline utility:

• Make sure that Java is installed on your workstation.
• Make sure that you have an internet connection. An internet connection is required to download the latest Signature Set.

The Offline SigSet Downloader is an offline utility used to download the latest Signature Sets from Trellix. It displays the five latest Signature Sets available for download. The downloaded file is then available within the sigsetdownloader folder. In an air-gap network, the downloaded Signature Set file can be copied from a remote computer with an internet connection to the Manager server in an air-gap network.

NOTE: You can upload the downloaded Signature Set file to any Manager version.

To download the latest Signature Set from the Trellix Update Server:

1. Go to <filepath>\OfflineSigSetDownloader.
   • On a Windows client:
     Type OfflineSigSetDownloader.bat and press Enter
      
   • For a Linux client:
     Type OfflineSigSetDownloader.sh and press Enter.
      
2. Press Y if you want to configure proxy details; press N if not.
   If you press Y, enter the proxy server IP address or host name, port number, and user credentials (optional) when prompted.
    
3. Enter the Signature Set version that you want to download from the list of latest Signature Sets available.
   
   NOTE: Press Enter to download the latest version by default.
   
   The tool now downloads the Signature Set file (.ivu) to the sigsetdownloader\sigsets folder.
