Problem
An MVISION Mobile device needs connection to the MVISION Mobile server to retrieve policies, signatures, and upload metadata and other data. A proxy or a firewall might block this connection from the client to the cloud server.
Solution
An MVISION Mobile device that the MVISION Mobile server manages must have access to the below URL: https://acceptor.mcafee-mvision-mobile.com/srx We recommend that you exclude the above URL using the fully qualified domain name instead of using an IP address. But, performing a DNS lookup can return the nearest and most accurate IP address records at any given time. This returned result can be any of several IP addresses across the globe. But, this IP address can change without notice. Because the exact IP address isn't known in advance, firewall administrators must open port 443 outbound globally to the URL mentioned above.
