Assumptions and pre-requisites:
- This script only works if PowerShell is present on the system.
- This Script is only used if SME 8.7 is installed.
- It's assumed that the Anti-Spam module is installed with SME.
- Both FileList_E.xml and FileList_M.xml must be present in the same folder.
- The PowerShell script must run as a domain administrator.
To run the script:
- Make sure that the logged-in system user has enough permissions to run the PowerShell script.
- Open PowerShell.
- To execute the script, type the following command:
.\FileChecker.ps1
To view the results:
Open the
Result.xml file in an internet browser. The results are shown in a tabular format in the
File version.
The
Result.xml file contains the following information:
- SME version
- Update version
- Hotfix version
- The root directory where SME is installed
Consolidated results are provided in a single row for the
SME version check.
