A McAfee Agent upgrade or install fails, if a direct connection to ePO server is not available. McAfee Agent Smart Installer is unable to fetch proxy information, on systems with Internet Explorer 11 installed. The proxy details are only obtained after restarting Internet Explorer. Cause
A known issue with Windows Internet Explorer 11 causes this issue.
