Database Activity Monitoring (DAM) 4.x
Problem
Sometimes during network monitoring, you see the following error message in System Messages on the Database Security Web Console: Here, <sensorName> is the name of the reporting sensor. Cause
When network monitoring is enabled, the sensor uses a data queue to hold TCP packets for processing. This queue has a default size of 256 MB, but sometimes it can be too small.
Solution
Add the following advanced sensor parameter: For more information about adding this parameter, see KB83070 - How to add an advanced parameter to a Database Activity Monitoring sensor. The value of this parameter is in MB and can be any integer between 32 and 4096. Make sure that the sensor host has enough memory to accommodate whatever value you enter. You don't need to restart the sensor for this change to take effect. Affected ProductsLanguages:This article is available in the following languages: |
