Under certain circumstances, some Trellix services can't be stopped from the Windows Service Control Manager, and remain in a Stopping state. You can see the relevant process running in the Windows Task Manager, but you can't stop it using the End Task option. The only way to resolve the issue is to shut down and perform a system reboot. The issue affects services that listen for traffic on a port. The following are known services that are currently affected:
