This article describes how to clear the local reputation cache data for testing and troubleshooting purposes.

To clear the local reputation cache, make an arbitrary change to the following "Rule Assignment" settings. Use the client user interface or edit the policy via ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO).

• Balanced
• Productivity
• Security

After you clear the cache, revert to the original "Rule Assignment" settings. If you're making this policy change via ePO, send the target systems a full properties wake-up call to enforce this change, which clears the local reputation cache. After you clear the cache, revert to the original "Rule Assignment" settings within your policy, and send another wake-up call to the systems to return their policy to the normal state.
