Summary
Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) traps allow Administrators to configure an agent on an endpoint to send SNMP messages when certain predefined conditions are met. For example, an Administrator can configure an SNMP trap to notify them when a disk is full, or when a service stops. When ePO creates an SNMP Octet String, the default character encoding of the host ePO server is used. For example, if 'Windows-1252' (Windows Latin 1 or ANSI) is in use on the host ePO server, the SNMP trap is also encoded in Windows-1252. You can use ACP = Ansi OEMCP = OEM Using Output PSParentPath: Microsoft.PowerShell.Core\Registry::HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Nls PSChildName: CodePage PSProvider: Microsoft.PowerShell.Core\Registry ACP: 1252 OEMCP: 437 Using Output 437
