Problem

You're unable to print content from Internet Explorer 11. The following error displays when an attempt fails:

There was an internal error and Internet Explorer is unable to print this document.

NOTE: This issue isn't specific to any single website.

Workaround

Modify Content Tracking in the Windows Client configuration policy:

Start ePolicy Orchestrator and log on as admin.
Go to Menu, Policy, Policy Catalog.
Click the drop-down list and select Data Loss Prevention.
Click the Windows Client Configuration policy assigned to the client system.
In the left pane under Settings, select Content Tracking.
In the "Whitelisted Processes" section, add the following appropriate Process Name.

Windows 7: iexplore.exe Folder "%localappdata%\Microsoft\Windows\Temporary Internet Files"
Windows 8.x, 10: iexplore.exe Folder "%localappdata%\Microsoft\Windows\INetCache"

Check All files, Empty Extension, and Web.
Click Apply Policy.
Restart Internet Explorer.
