Problem

The ENS console About screen shows a different number of signatures in an Extra.DAT compared to the number of signatures in the VirusScan Enterprise (VSE) console About screen.

Solution

This design is intentional. ENS counts both signature names and their variant names in Number of signatures in Extra.DAT on the About screen. VSE counts only signature names, but doesn't count their variant names on the About screen. So, the number of signatures on the About screen can be larger for ENS than for VSE with the same Extra.DAT.
