To download the MePO extension:
The MePO extension is available for download from the Product Downloads site. The MePO extension is listed under the ePO product components.
The MePO extension is also available on the
Content and Cloud Security Portal.
The path to locate the extensions is
Products, McAfee Web Gateway, Downloads, Tools.
To install the MePO extension:
To support connection of the DXL client in SWG to a DXL broker, install the MePO extension on the ePO server:
- Log on to the ePO console.
- Click Menu, Software, Extensions.
- Browse to and select the MePO extension file, and then click OK.
To verify whether the MePO extension is installed:
The MePO extension doesn't have a user interface and isn't visible to users after it's installed. To verify that the MePO extension is installed in ePO, click Menu, Extensions, Server. Locate McAfee Mobile ePO in the list.
To provision DXL clients to operate through MePO:
Make sure that the following extensions are installed before you perform this procedure:
- DXL Broker Management extension
- DXL Client extension
- DXL Client Management extension
- MePO extension
To provision DXL clients to operate through MePO:
- Create an ePO user.
- Assign the DXL McAfee MePO Certificate Creation, Create DXL McAfee MePO Certificates permission to the user.
- Provide this user when you provision each DXL MePO client.
