Data Exchange Layer (DXL) Skyhigh Web Gateway (SWG) SummaryThis article provides information about accessing and downloading the DXL-embedded client and the Mobile ePO (MePO) extension.
The DXL-embedded client is used by products, particularly appliances, when they integrate with DXL. This integration uses the MePO Extension to enable ePO to manage systems using the DXL-embedded client. The client is provided as a library. It's built into the integrating product as part of the product's development process.
SWG 7.5.2 introduced the ability to integrate with DXL. To connect SWG to a DXL Broker, the MePO extension must be installed on the ePO server. The DXL client included in Web Gateway uses the MePO extension to establish a secure connection to a DXL broker. The DXL broker is an essential part of the DXL messaging feature.

The MePO extension is available for download from the Product Downloads site. The MePO extension is listed under the ePO product components. The MePO extension is also available on the Content and Cloud Security Portal. The path to locate the extensions is Products, McAfee Web Gateway, Downloads, Tools. To install the MePO extension:
