Microsoft Active Directory ProblemUsers are removed from the ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO) database after you disable the Global Catalog option. The option is found in the ePO Registered LDAP Server. The CauseIf a Registered LDAP Server points to a child domain with Global Catalog enabled, users from across the entire domain forest can be added, and not just those users that exist in the specific child domain.
SolutionThis behavior is expected, when ePO can't query a User in AD. When you use the Global Catalog, the Registered LDAP Server is directed at the parent domain of the forest.
Client Recovery Perform an ePO Administrative Recovery on the system. The recovery allows a user to bypass preboot without loading a user token. For details, see the DE or EEPC Product Guide under the section "Perform administrator recovery on the client computer." Or, add the users again either manually or using For product documents, go to the Product Documentation portal.
