After you apply the enable priority event forwarding policy to the non-Windows systems, restart the McAfee Agent process.
- Log on to the ePO console.
- Click Menu, Policy, Policy Catalog.
- Select McAfee Agent from the Product drop-down and leave General selected for the Category drop-down.
- Click Edit Settings under the Actions column.
- Click the Events tab and select Enable priority event forwarding.
- Restart the agent service by typing the following command in the Terminal window for the appropriate system:
- For AIX and HP-UX agents, type the following command and press Enter:
/sbin/init.d/cma restart
- For Linux and Solaris agents, type the following command and press Enter:
/etc/init.d/cma restart
- For Mac agents, type the following command and press Enter:
sudo /Library/McAfee/agent/scripts/ma restart
Enter your password if prompted.
- Close the Terminal session.
