You create a DLP rule that:
Cause
The manner in which many DVD or CD-imaging applications are designed causes this issue. Although the software requires only read access to the drive, most DVD or CD imaging applications send commands to the drives to enumerate the drive list each time the software is used. Because the DLP rule blocks any write access to the drives, these commands are rejected. Solution
This behavior is expected when write access to optical drives is disabled through DLP.
