You can use SNMP to retrieve statistics from a Sensor.
For example, to obtain the total count of bytes sent or received by an interface, the following OIDs can be used with the
snmpget command:
- OID: .1.3.6.1.4.1.8962.2.1.3.1.1.3.1.11
Description: Total number of bytes that have been sent on this interface
- OID: .1.3.6.1.4.1.8962.2.1.3.1.1.3.1.5
Description: Total number of bytes that this interface port has received
Append the above OIDs with the slot index (always 2) followed by the port index.
- .1.3.6.1.4.1.8962.2.1.3.1.1.3.1.11.<slot index>.<port index>
Example: To obtain the total number of bytes sent over the interface port with the index value of 4, the command would be:
.1.3.6.1.4.1.8962.2.1.3.1.1.3.1.11.2.4
