The methods below are available to verify what ePO 5.9.x hotfix is installed.

- Identify what version (build number) you need to verify.
- To verify which update is installed, use one or more of the following methods:
Method 1 - ePO console
This method is the simplest method. The ePO console is accessible only via a web interface and the update version (build number) is always displayed in the Windows Internet Explorer title bar.

Click Start, Run, type explorer, and click OK.

Navigate to
...\Program Files (x86)\McAfee\ePolicy Orchestrator\DB.

Locate the section
[Server].
-
Update build number is stated in the
Version statement:
Example (For ePO 5.9):
[Server]
Version=5.9.0.732

Close the editor.
Method 3 -
NAIMServ.dll file Properties

Click Start, Run, type explorer, and click OK.

Navigate to
...\Program Files (x86)\McAfee\ePolicy Orchestrator.

Right-click
NAIMServ.dll and select
Properties.

Click the Version tab.
-
The build number is displayed similar to the following:
File version:
5.9.0.732
-
Click Cancel.
Method 4 - Registry
- Click Start, Run, type regedit, and click OK.

Navigate to the following registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Network Associates\ePolicy Orchestrator

Double-click
PatchInstalled and identify the
Value data entry.
NOTE: The Value data entry is specific to whatever update version is installed. Examples: Update 1 = 1, Update 2 = 2.
