Pour éviter tout problème futur, activez la 8.3 Convention d’appellation sur le serveur ePO.
REMARQUE : L’installation sur un chemin d’accès ayant échoué avant 8.3 l’activation de la dénomination ne fonctionne toujours pas avec le même chemin d’accès. Pointez l’installation sur un nouveau chemin d’accès au répertoire, car 8.3 la prise en charge de la dénomination est ajoutée par défaut à ce chemin d’accès lorsqu’elle est activée.
Pour activer la 8.3 Convention d’appellation :

Cliquez sur Démarrer, exécuter, saisissez regedit , puis cliquez sur OK.

Accédez à la clé de Registre suivante et sélectionnez-la :
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\FileSystem

Cliquez
NtfsDisable8dot3NameCreation avec le bouton droit de la même façon, puis sélectionnez
Propriétés ou
modifier (en fonction de votre version de Windows).

Modifiez les données de la valeur de 1 à 0.
REMARQUE : Sur Windows Server 2008, la valeur par défaut est 2. Vous devez la remplacer par 0 .

Redémarrez votre ordinateur.
- Vérifiez que la 8.3 Convention d’appellation est activée sur le lecteur :
- Cliquez sur Démarrer, Exécuter, saisissez cmd , puis cliquez sur OK.
- Saisissez la commande suivante et appuyez sur ENTREE :
dir /x
Vous voyez que les dossiers comportent désormais une colonne pour les noms courts, par exemple, Progra~1 pour Program Files.
- Saisissez exit et appuyez sur entrée.
Vous pouvez désormais installer ePO dans un nouveau répertoire.
