File and Removable Media Protection (FRP) 5.4.1. Microsoft Windows 10 version 1709 and later Microsoft OneDrive for Business Microsoft OneDrive Problem
A default message displays on the client during policy enforcement. The message incorrectly shows that the OneDrive sync folder is being encrypted, instead of the expected decrypted message. Cloud Protection Policy According to your Security policy, the following cloud providers are configured for encryption: Entire sync folder for the following cloud providers will be encrypted.
NOTE: You see the incorrect message only if you've not configured a custom message. Cause
Starting with FRP 5.4.1, an enforce decryption policy is now mandatory and applied to OneDrive sync folders. For details, see KB86791 - Support for Microsoft OneDrive for Business and Microsoft OneDrive. Solution
You can safely ignore the message for OneDrive after you upgrade to FRP 5.4.1. The issue is fixed in FRP 5.4.2 and later. If you need to upgrade to FRP 5.4.1, implement the workaround (see the "Workaround" section). Workaround
