Why are these products entering EOL?
ENS is an integrated system that delivers better protection, detection, and correction. We’ve invested heavily in solutions for endpoint, cloud, threat detection, and management. The ever-changing security landscape requires modern solutions and these new solutions provide more comprehensive and adaptive security to combat today's threats.
Will there be a replacement for VSE for Storage?
Yes. ENS Storage Protection is available. You're entitled to upgrade for free to this new storage solution.
Does the EOL include
Yes. All
Is there any cost to upgrade?
No. You're already entitled to ENS for Windows, Linux, and Mac as part of your existing license.
Will you be providing new features for the products included in this EOL after the End of Sale is announced?
No. New features and enhancement requests (product ideas) will no longer be developed.
I have VSE. What must I do to stay protected?
Windows customers must upgrade to ENS 10.7 to avoid any disruption to their endpoint protection. ENS 10.7 for Windows contains Exploit Prevention (formerly known as Host IPS) and Web Control (formerly known as SAE) in one package. We highly recommend that you also install the Adaptive Threat Protection (ATP) module, which includes Real Protect, Dynamic Application Containment, and Story Graph (provides a visual view into how we provide protection). Customers currently using TIEm for VSE need to make sure that they install ATP to continue making use of TIE Server.
Linux customers must upgrade to ENS 10.7 for Linux, which contains Exploit Prevention (formerly known as Host IPS).
Mac customers must upgrade to ENS 10.7 for Mac, which contains Web Control (formerly known as SAE).
When I stop using the products in this EOL announcement, will all personal data collected in association with these products be deleted?

Can I request that my company's data be deleted at a certain time?
We follow the current General Data Protection Regulation guidelines. These guidelines allow customers to contact Technical Support or a sales representative for guidance on deleting personal data.
