The Skyhigh Mobile Cloud Security (SMCS) app is available for the Android platform.
This release rebrands the McAfee Mobile Cloud Security (MMCS) app to Skyhigh Mobile Cloud Security and also connects to new VPN Gateways using Skyhigh Security FQDNs. The MMCS app is no longer supported.
Auto upgrade from the older MMCS app to the SMCS app is not supported. We recommend that users manually update the rebranded version as per the steps below, open the application after it's installed, and verify connectivity to the SSE Web solution.
For an Android device:
- Uninstall the MMCS app by using the associated MDM solution.
- Update your MDM solution to include the Skyhigh Mobile Cloud Security application:

- Configure the SMCS app in MDM using the settings below, and update the mobile device:
- Gateway address: cxxxx.smcs.skyhigh.cloud
- Remote ID: vpn.skyhigh.cloud
For IOS devices:
- Uninstall the older VPN profile using the associated MDM solution.
- Update your MDM profile for IOS devices to point to new Skyhigh Gateway and remote ID.
- Reconfigure your mobile devices with this new profile:
- Gateway address: cxxxx.smcs.skyhigh.cloud
- Remote ID: vpn.skyhigh.cloud
