NOTE: We're currently working on fixing the issue. The steps mentioned below are a workaround to solidify all files on the Endpoint and enable ACC.
Ensure the following prerequisites before proceeding:
- ACC is installed on the machine in lockdown mode.
- Solidcore (ACC) is visible in the Products tab of the target system on ePO.
Perform the following steps:
- To select the target machine, go to Actions → Agent → Run Client Tasks Now → Solidcore → SC: Run Commands.
- Add the following commands in the specified order:
- Enable ACC on the Endpoint with reboot:
- license add <license key>
- so
- enable
- ssreboot
- Enable ACC on the Endpoint without reboot:
- license add <license key>
- so
- enable
- exec /usr/local/mcafee/solidcore/scripts/scsrvc restart
- Click Run Task now.
A custom task can also be created to solidify Endpoints and enable ACC. To do so, perform the following steps:
- Open the New Task dialog box.
- Select Menu → Client Tasks → Client Task Catalog.
- Under Client Task Types, select Solidcore, and click New Task.
- Select SC: Run Commands from the Task Types list, and then click OK to open the Client Task Builder.
- Enter a name for the task, add a description, and then add the following commands in the specified order:
- Enable ACC on the Endpoint with reboot:
- license add <license key>
- so
- enable
- ssreboot
- Enable ACC on the endpoint without Reboot:
- license add <license key>
- so
- enable
- exec /usr/local/mcafee/solidcore/scripts/scsrvc restart
- Review the task settings and click Save.
