Summary
Description of Campaign A threat group that's being tracked as Polonium has been seen targeting organizations in Israel. The threat group has been attributed to Lebanon and might be affiliated with actors tied to Iran's Ministry of Intelligence and Security due to victim and tool overlap. The group uses custom implant malware that communicates to actor-controlled OneDrive and Dropbox cloud accounts for data exfiltration and to obtain further instructions as well as additional payloads. Our ATR team gathers and analyzes information from multiple open and closed sources before disseminating intelligence reports. This campaign was researched by Microsoft and shared publicly.
