Summary
Description of Campaign The Eternity Project is sold on underground forums and consists of stealers, clippers, worms, miners, ransomware, and DDoS bots. The stealer can gather passwords, cookies, credit cards, and crypto wallets from multiple browsers, various clients, password managers, and software. The crypto miner is small, can restart if killed, and stays hidden from the task manager. The clipper program monitors and replaces cryptocurrency wallets with the actor's own wallet while the ransomware application encrypts all documents, photos, and databases on disks, local shares, and USB drives. The worm feature of the project spreads via files and networks, including USB drives, local network shares, and cloud drives. The DDoS bot malware is currently under development and may be leveraging stolen code lifted from an existing Github repository. Our ATR team gathers and analyzes information from multiple open and closed sources before disseminating intelligence reports. This campaign was researched by Cyble and shared publicly.
