How to update the Advanced Threat Defense Detection Package

Summary
Method 1—Manually obtain the detection package
- Go to the Product Download site, and log on using your valid grant number and email address.
- Follow the link of your ATD software version.
- Locate and download the latest detection package.
- Log on to the ATD GUI with administrator privilege.
- Click Manage, Image & Software, Content Update, Detection Pkg.
- Click Browse, located next to Upload File.
- Specify the detection package you've downloaded.
- Install the package.
Method 2—Automatically obtain detection package
- Log on to ATD GUI with administrator privilege.
- Click Manage, Image & Software, Content Update, Detection Pkg.
- Enable Allow Automatic Update, and click Apply. ATD checks for updates every 90 minutes.
- When the automatic updater downloads the latest detection package, the GUI shows it under the Detection Pkg table.
- Click Install.
