SummaryAn espionage campaign was recently identified to target Southeast Asia. Attribution to a threat actor or group is yet to be made. The threat group used a toolset that was previously not seen but included loaders, modular backdoors, keyloggers, and a tool developed to exfiltrate compromised data to cloud storage such as Dropbox. Targets in the Southeast Asian region have included defense, healthcare, and information technology. The initial attack vector remains unclear, but artifacts of the toolset have been made public.
