ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO) 5.10 Update 11
Problem
You see the error below while installing ePO 5.10 Update 11 or later: The Path [x:\full_path] contains an invalid character. Example: System Change
Installed ePolicy Orchestrator 5.10 Update 11 or later.
Cause
A feature change has been implemented with the ePO Updater Tool, with ePO 5.10 Update 11 and later. The ePO Updater Tool now looks for unsupported characters in the installation directory path. During the loading of the main page of the Updater Tool, ePO validates the characters in the installation path. If the directory contains any unsupported characters, the ePO Update Tool blocks the installation and displays the message shown above. Solution
