Edit two files and disable
ma_check_and_restore:
- Access the Linux system.
- Open both files listed below with a text editor, such as vi.
- /opt/McAfee/agent/scripts/ma
- /etc/init.d/ma
- From within both the scripts, search for ma_check_and_restore, and comment out ma_check_and_restore.
NOTE: The commands are located after the start() function.
