Microsoft announced that they'll only provide WHQL signing for drivers that are compiled with the /CETCOMPAT flag after September 24, 2021. The /CETCOMPAT flag is available only on Visual Studio 2019, and on Windows 7 / Server 2008 R2 and later.

What does this mean for ACC?
With this announcement, we no longer provide driver signing on the following operating systems:

• Windows Server 2008 (SP1 and SP2)
• Windows Server 2003
• Windows Vista
• Windows XP

We no longer provide full support for the ACC versions that support the above operating systems. This includes the following ACC versions:

• ACC 8.0
• ACC 6.2

As a result, we've announced the End of Life (EOL) for these product versions, effective September 30, 2022. For more information, see KB94819 - End of Life for Application and Change Control 8.1, 8.0, and 6.2.

What are my options moving forward?
We're committed to delivering continued support through the EOL process. Extended support options are also available to allow for a smooth transition:
