SIEM has an onboard RAID card that can usually address both internal disks and external storage without issue. The DAS contains its own RAID card, which does not usually need to be installed. 

If the DAS virtual disk is not found or mounted, you might need to install the DAS RAID card into the ESM, and cable it to DAS as follows:

1. Turn off the ESM.
2. Turn off the DAS.
3. Turn on the DAS without the ESM.
4. Install the new RAID card into the ESM.
5. After the DAS has been turned on for 15 minutes, it is now safe to turn on the ESM.
   The new disks must show this message on the POST screen. Also, the system startup messages must show that a new disk is found and is being formatted.

NOTE: Installing the second RAID card could change the system boot order. If the system boots with "No OS disk found", modify the boot order in the motherboard BIOS.
