Follow the steps below based on the version of SME that you have installed.
Step 1 - Detach from this article the appropriate package:
- MSME_8_6_3.zip - For SME 8.6.3 installed servers
- MSME_8_7.zip - For SME 8.7 installed servers
Step 2 - Apply the fix:
- Copy the appropriate file to the SME server.
- Stop the SME service.
- Press Windows+R, type services.msc into the field, and press Enter.
- If the server is managed with ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO), right-click the McAfee Framework Service, and select Stop. This action stops the ePO policies from overwriting local settings.
- Right-click McAfee Security for Microsoft Exchange, and select Stop.
- Minimize the Services window.
- Back up the following location:
<Installation_directory>\McAfee\<MSME >\ui
- Navigate to the location below:
<Installation_directory>\McAfee\<MSME >\ui\js
- Rename calendar.js to calendar.js.old.
- Copy the new calendar.js to the same location.
- Navigate to the location below:
<Installation directory>\McAfee\<MSME >\ui\<locale>\html
Example: For English, the path would be:
<Installation directory>\McAfee\<MSME >\ui\0409\html
- Rename the HTML files below, and copy the new files provided into \ui\0409\html.

- Restart the following services:
- McAfee Security for Microsoft Exchange
- McAfee Framework Service
- Clear the browser cache, and reload the web user interface.
