Software catalog shows ePO 5.9 when 'hide old versions if not installed' is selected

Environment

ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO) 5.10 Update 9

Problem

You observe the issue described in this article after you upgrade to ePO 5.10 (Build 2428) Update 9.

When you navigate to the Software Catalog, you see the following:

The option Hide older versions if not installed selected.
Both ePO 5.9 and 5.10 are listed. Only ePO 5.10 is expected to be seen.

NOTE: Under ePO 5.9, it shows ePO Support Center Extension Update 3 incorrectly as version 5.10.0.434. The same details are also present under the ePO 5.10 Software catalog listing.

Cause

Engineering has determined that ePO Support Center Extension Update 3 (version 5.10.0.434) causes the issue.

You observe the following when the ePO 5.10 Update 7 or 8 is checked in:

The ePO Support Center Extension is installed.
ePO 5.9 is incorrectly listed in the Software Catalog, although the option Hide older versions if not installed is selected.
But, after removing the Support Center Extension, the ePO 5.9 doesn't show in the Software Catalog.

With ePO 5.10 Update 9 installed, ePO 5.9 remains listed in the Software Catalog, with or without the Support Center Extension checked in.

Solution

This issue is resolved in ePO 5.10.0 Update 10, which is available from either the Software Catalog or the Product Downloads site.
