Problem
You try to manually quarantine an IPv6 address, but see the error below: Quarantine failed due to communication error between the manager and the selected device. But on the same Sensor, you can add IPv4 addresses to the quarantine list without any issue. Cause
You must enable IPv6 Scanning for attacks on the Sensor.
Solution
To quarantine IPv6 addresses, you must enable the Scan IPV6 traffic for attacks option.
