The article KB87769 - How to execute a command to rebuild indexes after you upgrade ePO provides a procedure to rebuild indexes after you upgrade to ePO 5.9 or 5.10. You can run the EPOCore.RebuildIndexesCommand using the following option to rebuild indexes for all tables where index fragmentation is greater than 30%.

Problem

In some circumstances, after you run the command https://:8443/remote/EPOCore.RebuildIndexesCommand?mode=1&table=All, ePO returns the following error:

Error 0 : Invalid object name '#TempRebuildIndexForAllTable'.

An SQL Server-side trace captured while reproducing the error shows the following exception:

An online operation cannot be performed for 'PK_EPOSoftwareCatalogStrings' because the index contains column of large object type, and in the same transaction there are update operations before this online operation. Put the online operation outside the transaction or put it before any updates in the transaction.

Solution

This issue is resolved in ePO 5.10.0 Update 10, which is available from either the Software Catalog or the Product Downloads site.
