This article describes how to install ACC with third-party tools.
You can install, upgrade, or uninstall ACC using third-party tools, such as Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager.
Prerequisites:
- Make sure that Trellix Agent is installed in the Managed mode on each endpoint where you want to install ACC.
- When you configure third-party software to distribute and deploy the ACC software, make sure that you use the following command for silent installation on the Windows platform:
/s /v" /qn UNLICVER=1"
-
Endpoints still need to check in to ePO to solidify. This process can be added to a System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) task after the installation based on your requirements. The CLI needs to be recovered and locked after completion. For more information about CLI, see the "Using the command-line interface" section in the ACC Product Guide.
NOTE: We assume that the system administrators have the knowledge about SCCM and have used SCCM to install the software. This article doesn't provide detailed information about installing Application Control using SCCM.
For more information about using SCCM, see this Microsoft Documentation.
Microsoft SCCM provides a comprehensive solution to deploy and manage applications and operating systems on Windows desktops and servers.
For details about command-line arguments, see the ACC Installation Guide for the standalone configuration.
