ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO) 5.10.x
Problem
You're unable to install or upgrade to ePO 5.10. You see the following error during the installation or upgrade: Error 1920.Service McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator 5.10.0 Server (MCAFEEAPACHESRV) failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services". The following errors are recorded in the ePO Server, Agent Handler, and MSI Install logs: CustAct (14:44:26): BEGIN StartService(hMSI, MCAFEEEVENTPARSERSRV) CustAct (14:44:36): END StartService(hMSI, MCAFEEEVENTPARSERSRV) CustAct (14:44:36): BEGIN StartService(hMSI, MCAFEEAPACHESRV) CustAct (14:44:38): ServiceStartService(MCAFEEAPACHESRV) returned (-1). Will check to see if service starts anyway. CustAct (14:44:43): Service MCAFEEAPACHESRV didn't start. Start service manually or reboot system.
